More information
It begins in Caleta del Sebo, taking the track that leads to La Mareta, in easy climb for about 1700 metres, until you reach the plain of La Mareta, between El Mojon and clockwise. From the intersection of La Mareta we can see examples of use of the land for crops and wells. In the plain, old ways already obsolete, but still visible while advancing your feedback, can confound our route, by it must be attentive to signs and geographical references. We must get by turning slightly to the right and then turn left a "that", until you reach an old track cut by a line of stones in just 150 meters. We will take the track to the left edging clockwise, leaving this volcanic edifice on our right, and with the reference of the small island of Montaña Clara in front. Left behind La Mareta, and after a brief low rise of 1 Km, the road towards the plain of the lower livestock, according to the main track. This descent offers a unique view Bermeja mountain, with its characteristic reddish colour and background the islands of Montaña Clara and Alegranza. We ignore the road that goes left and leads to the nose of the Estribas, following the main track, which veers slightly to the right. About 500 m of this crossing we will find the bike stands from the low of livestock. From this point we will continue along the track until you reach the junction with the track that enters the island toward the Northeast and borders Bermeja mountain inside in about 700 meters. We will take this crossing to the right, following the trail for 1.4 km. At this point it joins from the road that leads to the beach of Las Conchas. We continue straight and in just one kilometer arrive back to the sea, very near already of the amber beach. From this point a pedestrian path leads to Majapalomas. Follow the main track, which turns a 90 ° right, and in 200 metres reaches the bike stands from the beach of amber. The road continues parallel to the beach until the end of this, where you have to turn 90 degrees to the right again to take the track that leads to Pedro Barba and La Mareta. Along 1.5 Km you will find several roads that are incorporated into the main, but must avoid following a line roughly North / South until you reach the junction that allows to take the variant to Pedro Barba. The main route take the junction to the right, around half way up clockwise. After a short and steep ascent, continue for just over 3.5 km between ups and downs to the plain of La Mareta, where we will observe closely the aljibe de Las Aguadas and cultivated plots that we saw from a distance at the start of the day. Passed the tank we will again take the path on the left, which is why that started the route and that low to Caleta del Sebo, offering a unique view with the Famara cliffs in the background. The variant to Pedro Barba allows to visit this nucleus of population. From the intersection of the track that leads to La Mareta, take the road to the left which descends towards the sea
